50th Reunion
Our 50th Reunion will be September 25 - 26 - 27, 2015.
Friday (September 25, 2015)
5:00 - Dinner at Anchor Inn - You pay for your meal and drinks (Buffet $12). You will need to pay by cash or check. No credit cards.
Saturday (September 26, 2015)
9:00 - Golf at Carey Park. 4 man scramble. Golf Tournament - contact Mike Ruzich ([email protected])
10:00 - Guided Tours of the new HHS. Meet on the south side (13th St.) Parking in the circle, along the street, and the Arena parking lot. Be ready to walk at 10:00. If you have an old car from the 50s or 60s, we'd love to see it. Drive it to HHS or The Alley, so we can admire.
12:00 Noon - 3 pm - Bowling at The Alley Hutchinson at 23rd and Lorraine. $10 includes shoes. Pizza and salad $5 per person. Unlimited soda $3. Or hang out and visit for free. There will be a table at the front to check in and pay to bowl or eat. You will need to pay by cash or check. No credit cards.
Or lunch on your own with the rest of the afternoon to spend with family and friends or you can tour the Salt Mine (Strataca), Cosmosphere, the Dillon Nature Center, Carey Park, or walk the Martinez Trail.
Groups may want to gather at Carl's Bar, the Anchor Inn, or another watering hole of your choice.
5:00 - 6:30 - Reception with snacks at The Atrium. Nice, casual dress.
6:30 - Dinner (Pasta Bar) at The Atrium with Cash Bar
Dinner will be included in the cost of the Reunion, but the cash bar will be extra.
Dancing and visiting until Midnight. Bring favorite CDs, if you like.
Sunday (September 27, 2015)
Free day to get together with friends or take part in local activities above.
Rooms are available at the The Atrium for $72 per night, until two weeks before the reunion. Be sure and tell them you are attending the HHS 65 Reunion to get the special rate.
I’ve cut a deal for the reunion at the Hampton Inn in case people need a different place! Whoever is interested needs to call Lisa Hoskins and mention the Class of ’65 and my name (I know that will be a tough pill to swallow) and our rate will be $79.00 per night. To keep the costs as low as possible, and in order to have as many classmates who can attend, we will have a catered dinner on Saturday evening. Attractions in Hutchinson will be at your own cost, and you can visit them at your convenience throughout the weekend, or plan other get-togethers with your friends.
There has been a lot of remodeling finished at Hutchinson High School, we will take a scheduled tour of the buildings.
